The Music 
Catina A. Goner’s heart is that of a servant. She prolifically showcases the gift that God has ordained in her through music. In her adolescent years the gift of music was instilled, nurtured and cultivated to be an anointed musician and singer. At the tender age of twelve years old music was manifested and her destiny in it began. Serving at her home church Holy Mt. Carmel M.B. Church she became the lead musician for many years traveling with her pastor across the country and in her local church ushering in the presence of the Lord through her musical gifts. Through transition and a stronger relationship with God throughout the years, her gift was shaped and molded to impact and inspire believers and non-believers to know Jesus. Catina’s keen spirit and willingness to obey His voice has formulated a passion for praise through music that reaches beyond denominational boundaries exalting and magnifying her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is without question that her love for God and passion for music will change the heart of any person who hears the sincerity in her music abilities to glorify Him.
The Ministry
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful putting me into the ministry.” (1 Tim. 1:12) Under the auspices of strong Christian principles she worked in many facets of ministry in her young adult years. Catina believes that we are all usable by God; no matter the age. Through her beliefs God began to enlarge her territory and transitioned her to become Co-Pastor of Spirit Governed Church & Ministries in 1996. Under her current tenure she has had the opportunity to display the characteristics of a Christian woman in ministry. Her desire to live a life that is pleasing to God has encouraged all that cross her path. Catina A. Goner’s humanistic approach towards people allowed her to serve in all facets of ministry. Some of the ministries she has been privileged to serve in are: Loving A Generation Childcare Center and General Overseer of the Women of Spirit Governed. She also currently serves as the Assistant to the Regional Director for the Daughters of the Promise of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International.
The Mandate
Understanding the importance of God’s plans for our lives Catina A. Goner has chosen to totally surrender her all to Him. Through this mandate she vows to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all men allowing them to know that God’s love surpasses any addiction, aliment, struggle or level of oppressed state; for his word desires to liberate and bring life to any dark situation. Her life in God is positioned strategically to allow His glory to be revealed through her walk and service to Him. It is though her belief that Catina knows that God can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. It is through this power where she willingly devotes her life with the purpose that somebody’s life will be positively changed by her service and relationship with God. Remarkable, sincere, charismatic and powerful are words that describe this awesome woman of God.
